Hours

We are open 10am to 7pm every day, but we may be closed for certain holidays or bad weather.

Admission

Tickets to the museum are $12.99 for adults and $8.99 for kids under 8, and can be purchased in the shop.

Location

The Museum of the Weird is located on Sixth Street in downtown Austin, Texas (between Neches and Trinity Avenues). We are in the same building as Lucky Lizard Curios & Gifts, our gift shop. Here’s the address:

Directions

From I-35:

Exit 6th Street. Go west on 6th Street until you see the intersection for Neches. After Neches, the museum is in the middle of the block on the right.

From Mopac:

Exit 5th Street heading east. Take 5th passing Congress and continuing all the way to Neches. Turn left on Neches, and another left onto 6th. We’re in the middle of the block on the right.

Parking

Parking on most of 6th Street is free for up to 2 hours, otherwise there are plenty of paid parking lots and meters around the area. Free parking downtown on Sundays.
