There is another reason for the term "blue blood." Look up "colloidal silver." Royalty used it for medicinal purposes and if overdone, will turn the skin blue. It happened not long ago to a man in the US who drank too much of it.

I usually figure things out fast...that people find unexplained. Did some digging on the Gable films With Steve B. from here. I work every day now so it's hard to be on top of it all, though I still find it all interesting so I try. Lol. The only reason I knew about why peoples skin turns blue because of silver and that it was common back then was from Ripley Believe it or not show a long time ago ( i think it was that show )

Humm. If Martin married Elizabeth, and their union created the mutation, then why is his skin blue? Just saying.

I know there still has been people with cases of their skin being blue. As a result of Colloidal Silver. Or liquid silver. If you over use products with it, it will turn your skin blue. I also know back then, there where a lot more products with it in it that people where using. If they used them daily this could happen. I wouldn't question that of only being embred but if they also had an occurance of high intakes of silver. Well anyways I'm writing to much so I just googled searched it. Here is a wikipedia of it (read under biological effects ) **** http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyria

That is NOT Crater Lake in Iceland. That is Crater Lake from Oregon in the United States. You can tell by the island. Crate Lake in Iceland is much smaller, more barren, and has no island.
